Images, accounts, and assorted musings on landscape photography

When I return from photography expeditions, I typically process most images that are reasonably competent and interesting, even if they do not rise to the level of what one might consider a keeper, a portfolio addition, or even a post on Instagram. This journal is a place to park those images, and it often includes a narrative about the trip with observations, learnings, and asides. I return to this section from time to time to see how the images have aged, occasionally elevating certain photographs to a gallery page, other times discarding photos entirely with a "what was I thinking" shudder.
